Job Description
Position : Senior Process Engineer
Report to : Lead Process Engineer (Discipline Leader)
Priamry Responsibilities:
1. Assists the Lead Process Engineer and MPMT (Master Project Management Team) Senior Process Engineer related to process engineering of each RFS (Request for Service) for Long Term EPCm Contract Services for the client in Qatar.
2. Prepares coordination procedures including Scope of Work (SOW), Work Demarcation Table and Work Schedule for the above mentioned purpose.
3. Prepares the requirements for support by the Process Engineering Department of our firm for a work order other than our client Long Term EPCm.
4. Coordinates with the Process Engineering Department of our firm's related to process engineering for developing the design of individual RFS and Work Order including support to home office such as providing additional local information/data,
5. Prepares the execution plan for process design and engineering with the Lead Process Engineer for the essential activities including;
· Design basis development
· Preparation of PFD and P&ID
· Preparation of process data sheet for equipment
· Line sizing calculations
· Process simulations and H&M balance
· Utility consumption calculations
· Control valve and safety relief valve sizing calculations
· HAZOP related activity and preparation of cause and effect matrix
· Use of software such as PIPEPHASE, HYSIS
· Assessment of operation data for improvement
· Support to commissioning and start-up activities
6. Supervise the Process Engineer and P&ID Engineer for executing the above mentioned activities to implement without fail in terms of quality and schedule.
