Selecting A Hobby

ell!! I have selected Photography as my hobby. You may well ask why I chose Photography over the others such as Playing Golf, Music, Gardening, Collecting stamps etc. Well, I am not a particularly demanding person; so when it came to selection of a hobby I thought of taking up a hobby which will not tax me either physically or mentally so that I can follow this hobby as long as I wish　without my body or mind asking me to stop.

Secondly what attracted me to photography is that photography involves technology which indeed facinates me. There have been immense developments in Camera Technology which is also being revolutionised by the adoption of Digital Methods for manipulation and Transmission of images. Infact I feel that photography has reached a stage where only reading or talking about Photography can itself become a hobby just like watching and talking Golf is a bigger hobby then actually playing Golf
Anyway the final reason for choosing this hobby was to capture the beauty ofJapan especially the cuteness of Tokyo and share the same with all the readers.
As a first step in this process, for the last week I studied a lot of available cameras in the market and finally managed to make up my mind and buy a Digital SLR Olympus Make E-410 camera yesterday.
So look forward to some good photos and information on Tokyo from next week.
