The Team

I
n a couple of days from now, our team is ready to take a well deserved Golden Week Holiday. It has been a lot of hard work for the last couple of months.
To be honest, I am not keeping count of the hours put in by our team. Matsuoka our main architect has had to work late to design the new software ideas, meet the deadlines on assignments and also correspond with our customers. All his hard work though appear`s to be paying off. The packages produced look great. The FitzGlobal designed by him has had a good response. His leadership and vision appear to be following the planned path.

Entrepreneur with A Heart

I
t is somewhat unbelievable, sometimes unimaginable to meet a person of Indian Origin in Japan who has started his own business and taken it from Zero to 14 MUS$ in a short span of 10 Years.
It all starts with one person Mr. Gambhir (now known as Gambhir san). I met him on a flight from KL to Tokyo. Being as talkative as I am, we both hit off well in the airplane itself.

Automobiles and Japan

I
t is Saturday (12-Apr-2008), and it has been busy than ever. At 6 in the morning, I am rushing off to Tochigi from Tokyo to meet our new client (an Automobile Dealership Company) who is attending an Automobile auction at Tochigi. He wants me to understand his business before I start his work.
In spite of missing a train and once boarding a wrong one, I finally make it to the auction center. I meet our client a gentleman by the name Mr. Gambhir. He shows me around the place; walking amidst the massive lot of Heavy Vehicles (about 8,000 of them), I see many people of different nationalities, who have come here specifically to buy vehicles and export them to their countries. A lot of business (nearly 90% of it is International) is done at this auction and it seems every time this auction grows in size.

fountainhead

I
am not a guy who is into pubbing and partying but like everybody else, I too need to rest and unwind myself. Especially after a hard week like the last one I had to relax.
Being brought up in natural surroundings in a house surrounded by large trees, I love nature. Tokyo is really not a green city, however it does have a sprinkling of gardens and parks.I had visited some in the past but never had I visited a Tokyo garden with a sole purpose of resting and unwinding.
