Eat, Drink And Be Merry

ith Spring in the air, everybody is out and trying to have some fun outdoors. But this year Tokyo has been really hot and Spring very short so to say. Maybe climate warming has taken it`s toll on this pretty country as well.Having spent my life in Mumbai and Tokyo, I have seen similarities and differences in lifestyle, attitudes and approach to different aspects of life. I have also witnessed the differences between working to live and living to work.

Human Endurance

ith due thoughts and condolences to the people engulfed in the tragic events of Myanmar and China, I am back at my desk to write on a cycling endurance trip which I undertook recently in Chiba, Japan.I along with my friend set out for Tateyama, Chiba; from Tokyo early morning (6 am to be precise), on a perfect sunny day (this is Tokyo, Sun is already out and above at 6 am).
Part of the train ride to Tateyama is along the Tokyo Bay and at some places the distance between the train carriage and the sea is less than 500mts.

ello Everyone.
Stressed and Overworked for the past couple of months, I decided to have a holiday and let my hair down losing a few calories in the process. I did miss our weekly interaction last week. My due apologies. It had been a longtime since I had been into the mountains so when the opportunity cropped up, I latched on to it like a child.
