New Website On India
This site will be about the world that India is - the business, the lifestyle, a look at the past heritage, appreciation of the people who made it big, we will also profile some of the people (ordinary and not so ordinary) who shape India and also a look at the people who live India.
I have a confession to make. In my life spent in and out of India, I have never understood the fascination that some non Indians have about India. Sure India has risen from it's own problems, has sustained and is still sustaining to overcome its problems. All this I can say has been done by India and Indians alone with no external help from rich and mighty countries. But is this what fascinates the non Indians? OR is it the ability of India and Indians to function as a democracy with freedom of speech and liberty to all and everybody irrespective of their economic background or the dreaded caste system. If a person looks back and really studies the history and the present situation of India, I feel he might have a sensation of achievement in spite of adversities and get the feeling of how a nation can rise and stand on its own feet.
We on our site would be projecting India in its true colors be it business, or lifestyle or spiritualism or the recent trend to move to herbal medicines (Ayurveda). We also intend to touch on the recent trends in India and the increasing middle class and their needs and aspirations.
From this site we also intend to project to the outside world as to what exactly can sell in India. We would also like to share our experiences of how to sell in India and the Indian ways of doing business.
Our team always tells me that this will be an exciting site which will help in bridging the gap between Japan and India.
I do not want to give too much away, so let us say that we all will be taking lessons from each other and in the process becoming good businessmen / businesswomen.
Needless to say, we look forward to feedback from all of you to make this site and the features an enjoyable ride.
