Is Capitalism Dead?

T
he bail-out is done or do we say Capitalism in US is over. However, one thing is very clear that the economy and the banking system are at a point way beyond what the package can do. It has no longer remained a problem confined to US. It has crossed the oceans and there are fears of worldwide recession.

Geo Manage A Matter of Choice

A
lot of people ask me as to how I got into the business field and how I started my business.

Let me begin with the basics. My childhood was not a wealthy one but we were a contented family. My family was not rich but we did not see poverty either. My father even in trying circumstances was never unhappy or depressed. He was a person who always wanted to do business but just could not take the plunge. I feel he was too nice a person to do business. Also in spite of sincerity, hard work and honest work ethics he just could not become rich. I also found that he always had to accept any work that came his way. He had no choice.

Hangover After The Party

A
s I sit on my desk today to write this blog, I find it impossible to write anything good about the events that hogged the limelight last week. Too much bad events took place in the last week at a pace which left most of the people wondering if the world is a place where we can continue with our positive attitudes.

Be Right Or Be Happy

I
am back in office after a long week end. A long weekend spent jogging and watching the Wall Street meltdown on Television. With company business increasing the work load is also hitting the roof and with that comes the stress and anger associated when things / persons - do not go / work according to the way they should or you would want them to.

A Matter Of Beauty

W
hat makes a person beautiful? Is it heredity, genetics, clothing, makeup??? The beauty industry is a multibillion dollar industry. The reason for this phenomenal growth is that we are always looking for the next product which will make me look more beautiful. And before the bought lotion or solution is used up there is another product launched with much fanfare which makes us long to have it.

Global Warming and the common man

S
orry for a day`s delay in posting this blog.
With the G8 summit in Japan crying out loud and clear on the global warming issue, I thought I should also share my views with you all. Most of us will agree with the fact that we all should contribute one way or the other to make this world a better place and we also should give some thought to the Global warming. How can we all do this? One way to do is to care for the carbon footprints which we all leave when we go about our daily grind.

Cars traffic white luxury India

A
s we begin the next quarter of 2008, Fitz team is looking ahead to commence a bold new Business information portal focused on India for the Japanese. The biggest question in our mind is How do we do it? Truth is that we have barely scratched the surface.
The portal we plan to build is expected to bring you all the good, bad and the exciting features that India has to offer. We would also like to share the stories of goodwill between India and Japan.

I
t took one full day. Not at all long to say that I mastered it but long enough to say that I have sailed in the seas. This may surprise a lot of you but in my so many years in Japan, I never had a chance to hop onto a dinghy and sail in an yacht. I did have some lessons in sailing when I was doing my engineering but that was in a lake, which is nothing compared to being in a dinghy out in the sea.
I also have had some experiences sailing on cruise and mechanized sail boats but that too is a different experience. In dinghy sailing you are very near the waters. You can feel the water as it splashes on you when your dinghy catches speed. You can guide the dinghy`s direction by adjusting your body weight on its edges at different parts, just the way you would ride a 2 wheeler. And when the
Wind dies down, you can enjoy the sounds of the high seas without the disturbance of the engines as in an engine powered boat.
